Kudrin: Statistics service must be spun off economic ministry

ST.PETERSBURG, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal State Statistics Service must become independent from the Economic Development Ministry, head of the Audit Chamber Alexei Kudrin said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday.

“I used to be calmer about this but today I am sure that the Federal State Statistics Service must be spun off the Economic Development Ministry,” Kudrin said.
